Project Description
Building Partnerships
Building partnerships requires working successfully with a community and the associated school. Our methodology included a seminar with stakeholders from County Administration, the Education and Agricultural Ministries, the village chief and deputy, school head teachers and staff and community representatives. Additionally we held a community meeting for the local people which was attended and supported by the stakeholders so they could understand the plan and roles that they signed up to.
A group of 10 clergy and members of their congregation are also now an integral part of the partnership. They will be encouraging involvement in the training groups and motivating the community to engage in achieving a more sustainable future in this rural area.
Providing cooked school meals requires a kitchen, storage and equipment. By partnering with the community a sound and quality structure can be built.
As Feeding Futures celebrates TEN years of partnering with rural Kenyan communities, will you partner with us to expand into new areas?
To do this we need partners to help us in the UK. How might you pray, give time, give money or share our vision with others?
Please email us with requests to volunteer or if your company can be a corporate sponsor. Thank you
